Wet Pipe Sprinkler System

Easy to install and maintain. The wet pipe system is the simplest and most widely used of all sprinkler systems, ideal for any environment where the risk of freezing is negligible.

How it works

Water permanently in the pipework

The wet pipe system is the most straightforward sprinkler configuration: the distribution pipework is permanently filled with water under pressure. When a sprinkler head activates due to heat from a fire, water is discharged immediately and directly onto the seat of the fire.

The Viking wet pipe system consists of a check valve, a water flow indicator, and an electric alarm. For installations requiring a mechanical alarm, Viking offers an alarm valve and hydraulic bell. The entire assembly can be removed for fast, easy and economical maintenance without removing the post from the pipework.

The Viking Model J alarm valve is made of ductile cast iron, a material that ensures superior resistance to thermal shock and an excellent strength-to-weight ratio. The versatile Model J can be mounted horizontally or vertically.
